A UK SaaS startup came to TechChaps with a clear mission (help organisations measure, manage and reduce their carbon footprint) and no build team. The product needed an intuitive dashboard covering data input, analytics and rewards; reporting flexible enough for very different industries; and a database design able to handle large volumes of emissions data securely.
What we built: a full carbon accounting SaaS, taken from specification to a live product:
Team: 1 IT consultant, 1 project manager, 1 designer, 3 developers, 1 QA tester. Stack: Vue.js, Node.js, MySQL.
The result: the product is live, serving enterprises that measure and report their emissions. A non-technical founding team got a production SaaS, architecture through deployment, from one accountable partner, without assembling their own engineering team.
