We treat project enquiries, consultation requests, support conversations, and proposal discussions as confidential within TechChaps. Information shared through our enquiry forms is only accessed by people who need it to review your request, prepare a response, scope work, or support delivery.
This includes items such as business plans, technical requirements, architecture notes, operational issues, budgets, roadmaps, credentials shared for support, and other commercially sensitive project information.
If you need a legally binding confidentiality agreement before sharing sensitive intellectual property, source code, product concepts, financial models, customer data, or internal documentation, you should request a formal NDA before sending that material.
In those cases, we can usually arrange a mutual NDA for review before the deeper discovery or consultation stage.
This page explains our working approach to confidentiality, but it is not a substitute for a signed NDA where one is required by your organisation, internal policy, procurement process, or legal team.
Confidentiality obligations typically do not apply to information that is already public, already lawfully known to the receiving party, independently developed without using confidential material, or required to be disclosed by law or lawful authority. A signed NDA, where used, should define these terms precisely.
If you need an NDA before continuing, contact us and mention that you require a confidentiality agreement before sharing sensitive information.
